Whittled down my Mobile Broadband options

Orange do unlimited 12 month contract for £25 per month. As I am using a Dell lappie and some work peeps have an Orange card, thinking this may blend in more nicely!

On the other hand, Three do the usb option for £15 per month over 18 months, but limited to 3 gig.

Is 3 gig enough for most things? The odd email check during the day and some msn and all of that stuff at night?

Tempted to go for Orange, then hope prices drop at the end of the 12 months....

My wife works from home in publishing; .PDFs and Word .DOCs go back and forth. I have been on the bench since July so I mostly browse Jobserve and email out .DOCs.

This is the sum of all incoming & outgoing traffic on our broadband line:

    Jul 07 - 2.0 Gb
    Aug 07 - 4.0 Gb
    Sep 07 - 1.7 Gb
    Oct 07 - 4.6 Gb
    Nov 07 - 4.9 Gb
Dec 07 - 6.2 Gb <-- discovered the delights of CUK
Jan 08 - 7.0 Gb <-- mostly thanks to me following links to films 'n' stuff on CUK and downloading 5 Linux CDs

Removing watching online films and my wife's stuff, 3Gb per month would be plenty for us at home. I expect it would be nothing like enough for a teenager.

Thanks - that is very helpful.

Gone for Three - £15 all in, no extras. Orange are adding VAT and all of that jazz, so double the price for something I am not likely to use.

Just need to find a way of glueing the usb dongle to the lid, then all is well! (WEll, maybe velcro - who says technology is tidy these days??)
