    Wierd space char in DB

I got this wierd space char in the db - keeps cropping up.

It will not be trimmed in the normal way, regexp doesn't get it regulary

    it encodes to this %C2%A0

where does it come from? how do I get at it in the db (SQL server)?

If (as I understand) SQL Server stores internally as UCS2, the character will either be this or this, depending on endianness. The reason it displays as a space is probably because the font you're using doesn't have a glyph to represent it.

Without more detail of the environment in which this problem is occurring, it's difficult to provide further help.

      thanks for the link.

It was a woman in China cut n pasting english text with her modern chinese 'dual' font turned on.

still can't get to it in SQL server.

I got to it by urldecodedformat got the string pattern matched it and removed it put it all back.

bit like london to brighton via manchester.

Suprised nothing in SQL server to decode it.
