    anybody know if you can get a PAYG for internet access via 3g for a laptop ?

    Three do it.

    Vodafone used to, but no idea if they still do.

      Vodafone do it - I bought a HSDPA modem & SIM off ebay last week for £35.

      You can register it as PAYG or on contract.

      You can sign up to a contract on their site and they charge £99 for the card.

      I get 1.8mbps with it.

        T-Mobile does it in reasonable price if you're on contract.

          At my current contract I get a sold 1.5Mbps from T-Mobile.

          Which is nice. Annoys all the permies that I get access to the "good" internet and they dont.
