My current client is implementing OBIEE, I got a bit of knowledge of the product but Im not avaliable, soz. Interested to know why OBIEE was chosen Ive not been impressed with it compared to Business Objects XI, which is my area. OBIEE still seems very unintergrated with their 'Answers' module they bought from Siebel just bolted on.

We have just selected it as a tool as well. Looked good in the demo but then most products do. Time will tell I guess.

We preferred the look of BO. I personally am not keen on it.

In addition, we're an Oracle shop using Siebel as one of our primary data sources. Dashboarding is considered a quick win and the new VP had used Hyperion before.

So in terms of cost, our licensing was much cheaper and as it's the data we're interested in, primarily any of them could do the job.

If it all goes Pete Tong though, it was IT that selected it, and I work in Sales.

We have 6 years of OBIEE experience since the product was called nQuire. Have a look at www.rosetta-stone.co.uk and let me know if anyone wants insight or opinion.
          Thanks
