Anybody tried this channel 4 OD? I installed it only to realise it is P2P. and as I'm on only a 512K connection I had to uninstall it because I noticed other people were downloading from my machine and eating up my connection.
I tried blocking it - but everytime you start OD it resets itself and removes you block. Most annoying.

Too bad really as I wanted to download a couple of recent panorama's.

Use a proper firewall with some decent rules or your router. Find out what ports it uses (outbound) and place a hefty restriction is the QoS settings.

Found it works well, you will need at least a 2mb link. Because cheap ISPs share your line; you will need at least twice the download speed in order for it to work. C4 runs about 800k.

No chance of a 2M line, 512K is the fastest we get around here.
