    New Phone

So contrac tup for renew in a week or so. What phones out there are good (to be fair I've seen very few that are decent).

    Looking for:

Good talk time, good standby time.
Nothing that is too fancy, want a nice basic phone that makes calls and not much else.

Was thinking about the N73. But a mate seems to suggest Sony Erricsosn all the time.

    IMO, he's right.

Best of their current bunch is the K810i.

I have the previous version, the K800i, and can't fault it really.

Well if you want something completely basic the N73 is not exactly that..... The Nokia 6300 is a basic phone, lightweight, nice and slim.

Yup my g/f has one of these. Very nice. I lost my new phone in the Alps so I now have my cousins £15 kids Nokia phone. It has a Snoopy cover and all these stupid features like different cartoon faces for each contact. I dread having to pull it out my pocket when it rings. I went to try and buy a W880i, that will be £350 sir... hello again Snoopy...

I totally agree with SE being the best of the bunch at the moment

I've had the K750 and now the W810i, both have been flawless, only reason i dumped the K750 is when I found it wasn't water resistant (unintentional testing) and the screen messed up. I probably could have had the screen replaced and kept it but contract was up for renewal anyway.
