E-mail distribution / newsletter tools

Can anyone suggest a good e-mail newsletter tool / service for about 1 mail a month to 1000 existing customers.

Needs to be fairly simple because the users aren't very technical.

You might as well use Outlook's BCC feature. You might try Lyris, but not sure if its worth using it for such a small list.
