this is a silly question... I am trying to export some oracle tables... the management console insists that I should be logged on the oracle management server... I did log on but it keeps not recognizing my server (the name of my own laptop cuz I have both server and client installed on my own laptop) I did put localhost, that didn't work either, I get the error message: "unable to resolve host name"... is it because the name of my laptop is very long, I had similar problem with the MQ engine previously (can't help the long name its a default name supplied by company configs).. or do you think it could be something else??
