    VBA and Sharepoint

OK I have a question. I have been asked to produce a spreadsheet which summerises a load of data held in various Excel files in sharepoint. I have to use Excel to do this. I know it is possible to use the getvalue statement in VBA to pull a value from a spreadsheet held on a hard disk but can't get it to work when linking to a spreadsheet on the sharepoint.

    Any ideas?
Rule Number 1 - Assuming that you have a valid contract in place always try to get your poo onto your timesheet, provided that the timesheet is valid for your current contract and covers the period of time that you are billing for.

    I preferred version 1!

I had a idea to do some thing like that for some new project but I've got bogged down on other things.

I started to look at Excel Services for Sharepoint . However, sharepoint was killing the server I put it on so I've never been that motivated to look at it again.
    Drivel is my speciality
