Went to the Opera website, clicked on Features: it gave me a big list of features in German (I am connected in Germany but my PC is all in English).
No sign of a choice of language.
If that's how they run the User Experience, I'll leave it for now.
Lol ok your choice, but beleive me I was a big FF fan for ages, until after one update it started chewing up copious amount of ram if left open for a few hours. And it's still not fixed.
Opera does everything FF does better and faster. I do miss FF extensions though and always crack out FF for Firebug
If its MBS, boot in safe mode and delete these files:
C:\WINDOWS\system32\mbssm32.exe
C:\WINDOWS\system32\mbsrm32.exe
then reboot.
(Or, rather than delete, maybe rename to mbssm32.old or something just on the off chance it's not causing the problem, in which case you can rename back later in necessary.).
You are a god!
Macs are glorified Fisher-Price activity centres for adults

I used to use Opera a long time ago, but I got tired of the number of sites, including important sites like online banking, that just wouldn't work under it. No doubt that fault of incompetent overpriced consultants doing the web sites, not Opera's fault, but I had stuff to do.
Now I'm just jumping on it because I absolutely detest the growing tendency for web sites to detect which country I'm in and speak to me in the language they think appropriate. Just because they can, I suppose. Why not at least gove me the choice?

I would urge you to give it a try if you can, I mean I tend to go for the best tool I find, I'm not one of these evangelists that promote software for political agendas, I just gave opera a try and loved it!
Just find it far more stable, resource efficient and generally quicker at doing things than both FF and IE.

Just installed Opera. Obviously it'll take a little while to try it out.
Strangely, on Opera CUK Forum does not show a "New Thread" button. It has a Thumbs-Down icon where the New Thread should be. Is it trying to tell me something?
Also, it told me I needed Flash to see stuff, then sent me to Macromedia Deutschland to get it. Installation Tip no. 1: make sure you are in your own country before installing Opera!

lol well obviously I didnt get them globalisation problems, installing flash is pretty standard it's the same with FF too!
I can honestly say I have never come across a page that doesnt work with Opera 9!
