Physical structure of .NET apps on a server

Has anyone got some good links to documents on best practices with regard to the physical layout of .NET applications on a server?

I have a number of consol apps that make use of common libraries for the analysis of financial data, charts, etc. They run as SQL Server Agent tasks overnight. At the moment they are a right dogs dinner of different directories; I am trying to sort these out properly.

I’m not as much as a techie these days, more of a quant and a businessman. So please don’t take the Mickey about not knowing basic .NET stuff.

Thanks. I'll study those this afternoon. I've to get this all cleaned up in the next couple of days before I start on something new. I should really get someone to help me who knows what the hell they are doing, but that'll have to wait till later in the year.
