I've got one, but seems that I need a bigger antennae, the one which came with the USB receiver just doesn't work. So any tips regarding the improvement of TV signal reception?

I think you need a farily beefy house ariel to get Digital TV. Can't you plug a wire from the one on top of your building into the back of it? -
Well, seems that my assumption was right, I need a big ugly fat aerial...
I thought that these things were designed with mobility in mind...The rest is silence...Comment

They only work on CRT screens.Originally posted by ArdescoHaven't you seen a TV detector van?? They are designed with portability in mind, and they have a great big feck off ariel !!!

There has never been a prosecution with detector only evidence."A people that elect corrupt politicians, imposters, thieves and traitors are not victims, but accomplices," George OrwellComment

All I was saying is that they have big ariels and are portable and implying that maybe the manufacturers of the USB sticks have some silly idea like you lugging a great big arield that would fit on a van around with you.Comment

you beat me too it - would not be hard though. I agree local oscillator feedback up the antennae is the method of detection...Originally posted by zeitghostOh no they don't: they also pick up the local oscillator in the tuner..."Never argue with stupid people, they will drag you down to their level and beat you with experience".
