Anyone got the Netgear WG311v3 wireless thingy that goes in your PC. I keep dropping the connection frequently, searched google and seems its a crap piece of kit lots of people with same issue, wondered if anyone managed to fix theirs ?

Mine's did exactly the same thing for a while when I first bought it (almost a year ago now).
I found that most of the problems were found when using the WPA-PSK option, and now use WEP instead.
I think resetting to factory defaults a few times may also have helped :-)

yup, fixed it good and proper after I slammed my fist into it after it dropped the connection during a crucial and expensive poker hand. Never had one drop using my new Buffalo Air station.
