    API Reference Facism

These functions are deprecated. In order to maintain backwards compatibility with older code, these functions continue to be supported. However, new applications should avoid the use of these functions. To help encourage people to avoid using these functions, we are not going to tell you what they do.

I had it with an ecommerce API, when I couldn't understand how an API function never returned anything

It turned out they had never implemented the function because they never thought anyone would use, and the function was just a stub

This one though was documented, with examples so I foolishly expected it to work
Socialism is inseparably interwoven with totalitarianism and the abject worship of the state.

No Socialist Government conducting the entire life and industry of the country could afford to allow free, sharp, or violently-worded expressions of public discontent.

TBH I wrote an API a few months ago based on a requirement doc written by another person. I could not see the point of one of the methods, so it's just a stub. No complaints yet

That just highlights the futility of technical documentation.
