Samsung Note 3 camera

Anyone got one and found the samera to be sooooooo slow.

Was away at the weekend and a few times photos I tried to take came out blurred due to the long pause between button press and the photo being complete, very frustrating.

What did you do to overcome it and do you use a 3rd party app instead of the default camera?

It has happened to me too. Sometimes the photo is instant as you would expect it but then other times it seems to be saving the image you think you've taken but the shutter lag seems to be about 5 seconds.

I try and close down some of the apps that are running in the background and it seems to help.
