Well if no one needs to be close to the bus/train station I'd be happy with Mr Foley's.

Right, Mr Foley's 19:00 - I'm on call so I can't go mad however I have laptop, will travel, and Mr Foley's has decent Wifi so all's well.....
They do food but just nibbles but The Town Hall Tavern just a bit down The Headrow do gastro-stuff (I find it ok not super) or nearer LGI there's Veritas which does decent grub and oddball German Beers 'vom Flasche...'Comment

Apologies, I couldn't make it, was house hunting for No2 son, I should have let you know.Originally posted by stek View PostGlenW no show, thorough Bad Egg!I'm not even an atheist so much as I am an antitheist; I not only maintain that all religions are versions of the same untruth, but I hold that the influence of churches, and the effect of religious belief, is positively harmful. Excellent venue Stek, that is definitely on my go to list for nice atmosphere and beer.
Maybe choose a place closer to the train station next time, but that was very nice."I can put any old tat in my sig, put quotes around it and attribute to someone of whom I've heard, to make it sound true."
