I joined Parasol on a new contract at the beginning of the year. After the end of month payroll is completed they send you an email a week or two later advising the amount that will be paid...

Parasol Umbrella - STAY AWAY
Parasol is simply an unprofessional and frustrating company to deal with. When you are in an email chain with them, every email is answered by a new person and is sent as a new email so there is no way to properly keep track of all the emails (and there have been many emails!). When you call them and...Last edited by LondonContractor101; 1 June 2017, 10:33.

When I submit my monthly timesheet at Parasol, I always have to complete it in two parts. 1-5th then 6th - end of month.

Hi all,
Brand new to the forum and also brand new to contracting. This will also probably be my one and only contract and I will certainly never use Parasol again as they've been very poor in terms of dealing with my issue.
The main problem that I have is that the calculator...

Parasol - Employment Costs - extra charges??
I've been with Parasol for over 4 years and I have always been pleased with their service, and have trusted them to pay me the right amount and on time, which they generally did a good job of doing.
This month I decided to actually run through the calculations on my latest Parasol monthly...Last edited by fred857; 25 January 2012, 07:03.

New umbrella company required!
Hi, I'm currently using Parasol as an umbrella company but am thinking of changing for various reasons. Does anyone have any recommendations? I've been looking at Crystal Umbrella which is top of the league table according to freelancesupermarket.com but I'm not sure if they're any good or even reliable....
