I have a VM running XP as a dev environment running on a 64bit Ubuntu machine. It is slow even though the architecture is 64 bit and with plenty of ram for host and guest (6GB). Would I benefit from moving the VM to an independant internal disk so the host OS and guest OS weren't fighting... -

People, i have a linux server that i want to use to allow me access to my home files. A VPN i suppose. However, i want to be able to do it securely over client internet (Http).

Chaps, am after some hosting for my website, fairly small (less than 50mb) but it has a CMS i would need to install.
