As it's an FA cup weekend it's ITV that get to show the highlights.
Number and length of adverts is appalling. When you add on the analysis I doub't that a third of the program is actually football....

Woy Hodgson sacked
Just in time for the FA Cup tie with Man Utd. Kenny Dalglish takes over.
Are the Liverpool owners another Mike Ashley or Bob the chicken-farmer? They've hired Comolli as "director of football", who did so well at Spurs replacing Jol with Ramos and taking Spurs to the bottom...

Referees' Strike - for those interested!
BBC Sport - Celtic v refs controversy
As it happens, the Referee initially claimed that the linesman changed his mind for him. However, as any football fan will know, if a linesman wants to alert the ref of something, he holds his flag aloft to attract the ref's attention. Just watch...

Its all about defence stupid
Watched MOTD on Saturday and the quality of defending in the Premiership is appalling. Best league in the world??!! The reason that the Premiership players were so crap in the world cup is because they are not used to playing against quality defence. England have played as badly before in a world cup...

What did Rooney say walking off the pitch last night ?
Typical cr*p ITV coverage - they showed him mutter something as he walked off but didn't clarify what exactly.

Lets offer the man some helpful & constructive advice. And before anyone says he doesn't read CUK, let me remind you that he is, in fact, a contractor, earning £6 million a year with no break clause, and I hear he's IR35 compliant as well, so he must have taken...Last edited by doodab; 19 June 2010, 05:31.

The Footy Thread
Well with the world cup coming up and the chance of an all english europa league final we should really start waffling rubbish about the beautiful game.
So who reckons both Fulham and Liverpool will get through tonight and anyone betting on England for the World Cup?
Or...
