LTD paid in USD, any good tips? (Bank account, currency conversion, investments)

I will soon start charging a company based in the US in USD and will unlikely to need the money out of the LTD anytime soon.
Any ideas what's the best options out there? A bit hard comparing apples to apples with all the different known and unknown fees.

Wonder if you guys could comment on whether the stigma attached to CashPlus (mostly used by people fallen on hard times or cash intentive/ high transaction count businesses) is too much for Financial Services firms to deal with? Perhaps they will refuse to pay since its not a real bank account?...
