Regulate Umbrella

I might be giving up contracting as been on the bench for a while, but I have a short piece of work and may use an umbrella company.

Is there anything to look out for? I remember years ago when I used one (before I used a scheme) that Professional Passport was mentioned. I see their website is still running, should I ask any brollys if they have their clearance?
