    Indeed... 'how to log on to windows 8 locally' is pretty a pretty complicated search algorithm....

    Windows 8 - Use machine account to sign in

    I've recently bought a Windows 8 laptop and I seem to have been corralled into using my Windows Live Id to log in to the machine.

    I really do not like this fpor a number of reasons and was wondering if there was a way of logging in old-stylie, i.e. with a machine account.
