    It may not be quite what you want, but I've found Very Sleepy to be pretty useful for profiling with VC++ - and it's free.

    We've started using boost for unit testing and would also like a way to check how well the testing covers our APIs. I can't find an obvious free/open-source tool for this which doesn't rely on GCC, can anyone suggest options?
