    I get the odd "what are you doing in this photo" direct mails. I think they are fairly common.

    A few friends that I follow who should know better seem to have been hacked this way.

    Twitter spam

    I have had a number of notifications of direct tweets supposedly from people I know.

    I get the email notification and also an indicator on my twitter app icon but when I look they're gone.

    The tweets clearly aren't being personally sent by the person claimed.

    Is this some auto spam type thing or has their/my account been compromised.
