4.3 inch is not a tablet format so you are only looking at iPod type kit. Not worth the hassle IMO because it won't have 3G making it useless other than in wifi area's. slightly larger stuff like the iPad mini is ok however I found it harder to use than my iPad and when you scroll web pages, you tend to hit the side bars and trigger advertisements.
My iPad fits in the pockets of my north face jacket so I don't have a problem carting it around.

But you said 4.3" Tablet, that was the confusing bit. 4.3"-ish would be a phone or an iPod touch. iPod Touch is the best out there in that form factor that isn't a phone, either that or the new Sony Walkman equivalent (cant remember its name but it got glowing reviews).Originally posted by petergriffin View PostIt makes sense to me.
As for Flash........why? Do you like ads that much?
Edited, might be this one: http://www.stuff.tv/review/sony-nwz-z1000-walkman (although that review is not glowing, I'm sure I've seen good reviews for that elsewhere)Last edited by Durbs; 28 January 2013, 09:50.

But yeah, just read the op a couple of times and it still doesn't make sense.
What I meant is that I don't like the 7'' factor.
The 4.3'' gives you portability at the expense of readability.
The 9'' gives you a near laptop experience but you can't put it in your pocket.
7'' still you can't put it in your pocket and the screen is not good enough.
There are some good 4.3'' phones out there but I just need the media player part.

Is there any such thing as a decent 4.3 inch tablet?
I bought (and returned) two very small tablets (less than 7 inch). I don't like the 7'' factor. It's too small to watch HD movies and too big to carry in a pocket.
But I don't want to spend £250 on the Galaxy S-whatever just to watch the occasional porn on the train.
Is there something in the middle?
And is it true what they say (on the Android forums), that a 4.3 inch will never have a decent wi-fi connection? If this is true, why does the Galaxy have a solid wi-fi signal and the tablet doesn't?Tags: None
