Ever looked at https://parse.com/ ? Fairly full service for this sort of thing, although not exactly what you are looking for.

Amazon aws will give you a few micro instance for a year and recently added a free sql server instance for a year.

It would take slightly longer to set up but is far more flexible.

Recommendations to host a web service

I have built a free phone app which talks to a .NET WCF service. I need to host this service somewhere. As the app is free and I am doing this just to try out a few things I need a cheap host which allows .NET hosting and a single sql server database.

Any recommendations ?
