Cheers pg, looks good good for more serious use but In the end I just switched to zip mode and saved to existing folders.

PS Although that Windows wrapper round UNIX? I am sure it would break out and start a workers' collective on my hard drive.

Install DEltaCopy on both machines. Simples! (It is a port of rsync for Windows)

File sharing on Vista

Want to use my old Vista machine to backup files from my Win7 one. The main permissions in network sharing look ok and already have some shared directories that work but getting access denied on a new one. Have set as shared by "everyone", set full control on the permissions and ensured is not read only.

Seem to recall there was something else I did before but can't recall what. Any brill suggestions? Cheers.
