Aye, will send them some piccies of the running app over, they can only say no but any advertising is good advertising.

Its looking good although its the first time i've created a universal app and the first time i've used this new fangled Automatic Reference Counting, both of which have been a bit of a pain. ARC is absolutely great as i'm a .NET developer so would rather get on with writing the app than messing with memory managament. Its caused a few issues though as a lot of my libraries i've reused didn't work with it so theres been a bit of re-writing involved to slot them in.

Yes, I did, its functional, just needs a few more features and polish adding and i'll release it to the store.

Could do with something explicitely contractor-ey adding to it to lift it to more than a glorified RSS reader, would CUK be willing to donate a couple of newbie articles in exchange for a plug and link from the app?

Also, branding-wise, what 'says' IT Contractor - I wanted to stay away from images of laptops and fingers pressing keys and these are my current working icons. When someone thinks IT Contractor, what do they picture (seriously!).

Thanks for that - could be well worth keeping tabs on for relevant news items. I have to admit I'd forgotten all about the new cookie law, must get onto that.
