When you last had it on, was it connected to the interweb? If so, it may have downloaded a bunch of updates at that point and is now deciding to install them.

Best get it onto the web soon as there are probably another hundred or so updates available since you last went online with this machine.

That's odd
Turned on an old computer for 1st time in ages and it is now installing number 34 of 67 updates. THis might not seem remarkable in a machine that has not been turned on in ages except - it is not connected to the internet!
