    Well as domain 1 is not in use move everything in there up a level to /public_html/old while ensuring public_html/domain2 remains where it is.

    Its not a perfect solution but will stop domain 1 from being visible while keeping domain 2 visible.

    You could try putting a .htaccess ( which allows access to all) under the domain2 folder as well.

    Ideally you need a structure public_html/domain1 and public_html/domain2

    .htaccess and multiple domains

    I have two domains on my hosting package, one in the main /public_html folder and one in /public_html/domain2

    I want to set the .htaccess so that domain2 is accessible but domain 1 isn't.

    Can someone tell me what needs to be set? At the moment the .htaccess located in /public_html is set to deny all as a stop gap but this has taken domain2 off as well
