    WSMS. Only chance would be to get the info about which cell the message originated in from the service provider; I'm not sure how easy that would be.

    Except for the fact that the story wasn't true; the database contained shared general information about cell tower and wifi locations, and had nothing really to do with where any individual user had been. Mine listed a number of locations in Lincolnshire, a county I last visited in January or February 1986.

    Hi,

    Anybody know if it's possible on a vanilla Iphone to get the GPS location of where a text message was sent from. My wife's in a dispute with work, and it would be handy to prove where she was when she sent it.
