    this is what i am currently using - it weights 4kg, but its not that bad - great screen, fast processor (proper p4 and not one of those lightweight celeron thingies), 2gb memory. beauty is they only cost 1200 excl vat.

    Ah, now I remember your esoteric discussion about Windoze only 'seeing' 2gb of RAM.

    I'm thinking about running a VM version of HP OpenView Service Desk v5.0 It still struggles a bit on 2gb apparently but I think it's still running on a 32-bit OS, 2gb will have to do...

    ..and besides I had a peek at your link, got frightened and ran away...

    How much are you willing to pay?

    No point with 32bit Win XP going over 3GB. You will lose the rest for obscure technical reasons.

    2GB is the sensible limit with 32 bit Windows.
