Printing out large page size PDFs

What is it btw? I printed it out but I'm still non-the-wiser....

It's a SIM card connector for a mobile telephonic device thingie.

It's taken me half the day to figure out which pin is pin 1.

Once I had a printout I could see, I detected the legend (or leg end) "C1" adjacent to the bottom left hand corner of said connector.

This, I assume, indicates pin 1.

We shall see.

Especially if smoke comes out of the sim card.

Don't know how, but I got the shrink to fit thing to appear.

There should be a shrink to fit option in the print setup that will force it to print to whatever paper size is set.

Just printed it to A3 from the browser without a problem.

That's what I was looking for.

Maybe this printer driver doesn't offer that option.

It's for a Konica MFD a.k.a. that fecking printer scanner thing in the room across the way that doesn't fecking work proper like most of the time.

Don't know how, but I got the shrink to fit thing to appear.

I also got it to print it out as if the paper was B6, whatever that is.



Not altogether useful, I might add.

Though if I use my really really short sighted eye, I just about read it.

It's for a Konica MFD a.k.a. that fecking printer scanner thing in the room across the way that doesn't fecking work proper like most of the time.

Assuming your using IE of some vintage, open the PDF in IE, click the print Icon on the PDF bar, or File->Print in windows and there should be a section of the panel that pops up labeled "Page Handling". In the Page Scaling drop down select "Shrink to Printable Area" and make sure the printer is set to print A3 under Page Setup.

But how does one go about printing out an A2 pdf?

The printer driver shows me the area it deigns to print & generally it's the useless bit in the middle & there's no apparent way of moving the print area about to do a multipage type print.

Baffled of Gamma Centauri.
