What do you gain from in? You're routing all your internet traffic through somebody else, which is only useful for hiding what you're doing from your ISP, as far as I can see. Or perhaps if you want to appear to be using several different IP addresses (say perhaps you have multiple logins on a forum - not that anything like that would happen around here).

Anyone use a VPN at home?
I was looking at this one, which starts at just $39.99, but I don't know much about VPNs. Can you recommend another or even just tell me if it's worthwhile in terms of defending my home PC and data?
