    Nah, all the desktop processors have been 64bit for a long time. It just took the operating systems a while to support them mainstream.

    64 bit PC recommendations

    Time for a new desktop, I'm thinking of going for a brand name this time as much as I like geeking around with hardware when they go tits up - I'd rather pass on a cheapo Frankenstein this time round.

    So I'm looking at the HP Pavilion Elite HPE-350uk and HP Pavilion Elite HPE-380uk so far, can see them quite a bit cheaper than the HP site here and here.

    Just need the box - no screen/keyboards/mice etc.

    Any comments? Opinions?
