Yes, I found the example I tried didn't actually run the first time I tried it. I might have another look at it later, as there is something I would actually like to do with it and all the apps I've seen are payware.

Cheers. 3.5.2 Galileo as instructions for Android say not to use 3.6 due to unspecified issues. Various of the samples don't work apparently as again others having same probs.

I discovered you have to click the menu on 2nd and subsequent occasions and navigate to an application, not on 1st use. Nowhere does it say that in example. Dev by trial and error this is.

Yet another Android problem
One problem after another with this Eclipse/Android crap. Appear to be a lot of known bugs, path errors etc, and it's all horribly slow. This morning the simple Hello world example built on Friday did not work today although nothing was changed. It reports success and says it's launching but does not run on the emulator.
If I delete the AVD and set up another one it runs once ok but next time it's screwed again. Any ideas on this latest ghastliness? Cheers.
PS On 2nd run the emulator has different behaviour, get different font and screen content although only 1 adk is defined. Barmy!Last edited by xoggoth; 2 August 2010, 12:13.Tags: None
