Finally got one a few days ago. Its really nippy compared to my 3G and that screen is unbelievably sharp, never seen a display like it.
Ordered my free case yesterday, think it really needs one as that 'clack' of glass hitting whatever I put it down on makes me wince every time, just waiting for it to chip.
Not seen any signal issues yet but live and work in a good area for O2 so its always between 3 and full bars no matter how i grip the thing.

I queued up on launch day to get one at the Apple store Regent St, only to return it a week later. I wanted to move away from O2 anyway so moved onto Orange. I use a case with mine anyway so no antenna issues so far. Although one thing i have noticed is sometimes when on a call it will switch to speaker mode and the screen will say no wifi enabled... then on other occasions after a call the screen will remain blank and I can't lock the screen without pressing the sleep/wake button and home button a few times.
I haven't tried the updated fw yet but will probably download it tomorrow.
On the whole though I love it. Music quality seems to have improved over the 3GS too even though the 3GS was fine. One thing id like to see Apple do is open the iphone up to different formats for videos. The Galaxy S can play div x/wmv/(and possible mkv?) right out of the box.

Did it online, just logged into Tesco Direct to check order and still says "Delivery expected on Thursday 15 July 2010 between 7am-7pm" so fingers crossed.
Edited, actually, not hopeful now after reading that AV forum post!Last edited by Durbs; 14 July 2010, 14:57.

Tesco Mobile were still showing out of stock but got a handy tipoff that Tesco Direct had them so managed to bag one.
12 month contract on £20/month, unlimited data. Nice.

FYI, the iPhone 4 is unlocked by default: Apple have imposed this on the mobile operators, a bit like the way they imposed DRM-free music on content providers to the iTMS the other year

Just looked at their pricing and the Tesco 12 month contract looks tempting compared to the 18 months i'd have to sign up to O2.Originally posted by jmo21 View PostThis is where I'll be getting mine from if they ever get it back in stock!
Also just noticed that Tesco Mobile is 50% owned by O2 anyway and uses their network. Given i've been pretty happy with O2 coverage/service with my 3G then guess i'll give Tesco a try too.

Rory Cellan-Jones has a video on the BBC site of him trying and failing to do it.Originally posted by DaveB View PostYou can and it does. It's perfectly possible, with care, to cut down a standard sim to fit in a micro sim slot. Just google for it, there are plenty of how to's out there.
