Windows update will throw out WHQL certified drivers now and again, but if you want the latest up to date ones use the nVidia website.

In other words no different from XP

Question about driver updates in Windows7

I've just switched from XP->W7. Under XP, I would typically download new graphics drivers every few months since they are a huge factor in device performance. I wonder in W7 if I need to visit the nVidia site at all, or if Windows will detect drivers through Windows Update? I definitely saw one entry in recommended items relating to my card but I have no idea if this is the same as getting the drivers manually from nVidia's site?

Working...
