Thanks I'll remember that. Only drawback with the WD flavour of Acronis is that you have to have at least one WD HDD installed for it to work (I think Seagate do the same thing too if you have their HDD's).

Acronis is ok.
Also nice free disk copy software - http://www.easeus.com/disk-copy/
Worked very well for me.

Dead easy hard disk chages.
Just had to tell you good folk, I've just upgraded a PC with 2x new SATA2 500 Gb HDD's using the Western Digital flavour Acronis disk utility. Cloned the both the (Maxtor) C and D drives and had the PC up and running in well less than an hour. Well impressed with it and dead chuffed. PC runs like a good 'un now.Tags: None
