This and the other post from xoggoth re the 10% penetration rate is why I do have wired and devolo devices in our house, also worried about the 24x7 radiation in young kids heads.
The kids are asking why everyone else has wifi and we don't.
I've got to move out as part of the separation / divorce soon - wonder if I should install wifi before I go....

And what did Mr Neighbour get for Xmas at the same time as you connected your Wii?Originally posted by suityou01 View PostThe neighbour is a gadget mechanic who has so many wireless subnets it's not even funny any more.
I think you know where the problem really is.

Wii connects ok. The neighbour is a gadget mechanic who has so many wireless subnets it's not even funny any more. So I had to duck to channel 1 to get things stable.Originally posted by FiveTimes View PostI've read somewhere that the Wii requires a certain channel to connect.
Are you using DHCP or dynamically allocating IP Addresses ? Perhaps give the laptop a static one higher up in the range ?
That is until Mr Wii came along.
I am using DHCP. The Wii consistenly is on .10 or has been since Christmas.

Previously stable before that.
Any ideas why? Or how to troubleshoot?
