You would have to be some kind of mental midget to buy from DELL.
"I have a problem with my laptop"
"when you shake it does it make noise please sir"
"no, no noise"
"OK, mr dell is very happy that it does not make noise and you should be able to login now, we are very happy to have shopped you with DELL, good day sir"

No tulip, and in not in any way a counter to MM, my HP laptops have been fine but I have a LJ4+ and a 1200c multi that need fixing.Originally posted by Moscow Mule View PostAs a counterpoint to pzz, I've never had an HP laptop that didn't fail at some point.
The HP printer I have is marvellous though...
My Cannon MP240 multi has works like a dream, despite being forced through appox 25 airports and countries etc.

Just been checking... upgrade time is coming up for meOriginally posted by pzz76077 View PostHow much extra is the on site for 1 laptop approximately??
The kids may get a Dell each for Christmas if they tidy their rooms before then.

Looks like it could be "free" if you spend over ~£600 on a laptop although that doesn't include accidental damage which is about £240 on a >£1500 laptop
Which is good, I had to haggle for mine to be included in the price 2 years ago and that was on a top spec precision.
Still, best off checking with the sales drones first and get everything in writing. They can be flexible on the price if you're spending a bit.

I don't want to have to either send my laptop off for repair or take it back to the shop and then wait x days for it to come back (with a bill). The dell guys always come with enough spares to replace anything that might have also broken.

Hows that for service??
