We have a Logitech Quick Cam Pro 9000 which does similar. Problem occured with windows updates turned on, one of the updates seemed to stop it working. Turned off auto-updates and rolled it back to a restore point before the updates. Working ok since.

Of course, it doesn't work. Anyone else seen similar issues before? I've looked for generic Vista Web Cam drivers to try but can't seem to find any. Thanks. To Boot Clean in Windows Vista
