I've had no problems since installing it (in Safari on OS X). I've never heard of anybody else having any trouble with it either.

Intallling Google Gears?

Pondering whether or not to try installing Google Gears on my laptop - is it likely to shaft everything up if I do?

I'm away for the weekend, taking the laptop for some CV work and interview prep etc. but likely to be offline for a while. Thought I might have a play around with it.
