    Try Snagit - it has a recording module which I have used for demos/trainng purposes - not too expensive and usefull for screen capture as well.

    We use Captivate. Not sure about the export formats though. Check it out.
    Do you/your clientco have livemeet or webex? I know they export to wmv. With sound if you want a commentary.
