No probs. I would have asked how you went about applying the firmware the first time around (i.e. a cable directly connected to the router, etc). However, I suspect that you tried to apply it originally just as it was about to hang.

The main thing is that it works. I haven't had any problems with my router. Most problems are now with the Cable Modem itself, which needs a reboot every now and then.

So there's patches but I can't apply them.

I have told Belkin I will rip the whole lot out and replace with another Vendor.

This fixed most of my wireless and wired problems. If that doesn't work, then I wish you the best of luck in fixing the problem. :-)

Yesterday bought an F5D8071 express card, N1. Connects then drops and thats it. You need to reset the card, then it connects and then drops.

I had it connected for a whole 10 minutes last night.

Running Vista Home Prem. Already needed to reboot the router since using the new card. Kit is chuffing expensive so not too impressed to be honest. Used InSSIDer to check other wifi networks in the street and decided to move my channel to 7 as everyone else is using 11, but still no better.

Totally run out of ideas. I do notice that whatever I buy these days never works so perhaps I'll start an anti list so people know what to avoid.
