Nope, I get the same Newbury, although at a zoom level that lets me see the other Newbury further down the map

It's still nowhere near Farnborough though - that's about 33 miles away by road, south-east of Reading. The big(gish) Newbury is just to the north-west of Greenham Common, if that's any help.

If you're trying to get driving directions, bear in mind that you can drag the erroneous Newbury marker to the correct Newbury and it'll recalculate the route immediately (no button-pressing required). That's also handy if, for example, you know that there are roadworks somewhere and want to try out various alternatives - you can grab any part of the route and drag it to where you want it to be. Saves typing in all that boring "Travel via:" nonsense

And do make sure you're going to the correct Newbury before you set off - maybe Google knows more about your future than you think...

I thought Newbury was a medium sized place south of the M4, not a flyspeck east of Farnborough.

Just ask Swampy...that's if he leaves his tunnel that is.

Try your search again for Newbury Racecourse, it should get you closer.

Or just stick in the postcode of where you are going. Failing that RG14.
