Applies to IE 6.0 SP1 not just win xp as stated at top. Dunno about netscape but possibly they have shared DLLs.Last edited by xoggoth; 10 September 2005, 12:01.

err 501: invalid command in IE6
I've just reinstalled win 2k on an old laptop. i can connect with ADSL modem fine, but when I open up any web page in Internet Explorer or netscape Im serverd a blank page with the error message ERR 501: Invalid command.
My other laptop running win xp home access web pages fine using the same broadband connection.
Any ideas on this one?Tags: None
