Print to PDF...including letterhead

I also use CutePDF. The CutePDF Pro allows me to do exactly what I want - just requires 2 stages (i.e. print then open pdf and add backgrounds).

pdftk with pdftk builder front end also adds backgrounds but it is free. Also pdftk is command line driven so you can script it up if you like (and possibly put a word macro together to do it all in one step too).

ah right the pro version...being a skin flint I'm using the free version. The CutePDF creator SDK would do the job but you'd need to integrate that with your own code. And it's not cheap either...$499 + $199 for security if you need that. It might not be a viable option.

PDFill http://www.pdfill.com/ comes pretty close to what you want to do but it's not exactly right.

What you need is some way to hook your PDF printer pdf file output to PDF Tools to work in a single action...it probably requires command line support in PDF Tools which I'm pretty sure it doesn't have right now, but that would enable you to cobble a batch file together to do the work...it might be worth an email to support@PDFill.com

I did think that but I also need to "print" stuff from other packages as well which as they are analysis then the branding would be good to stop someone passing it off as thier own.

Or use pre-printed letter head stationary I guess?

I have a set of MS Word Templates that I create letters, invoices, etc from. Those templates have all the letterhead, address, company details, what have you, in them. When I want a, say, letter, I just do new and pick a template, enter whatever and print (to pdf if required). Is that what you want to do?

Hi guys,

I'd like to be able to create pdfs from word etc directly but include a letter head behind the writing.

At the moment I can print directly to a virtual printer which creates a pdf but doesn't have the option to put a letter head in there.

Does anyone know of something that can do this. I can do it but requires me to open the pdf in an editor and add the page manually. I'd rather be able for it to do it automatically as I print just like I do now.
