What is the software supposed to do? Are there any time critical components that would require some low-level optimised code?

Failing that use someone who knows what the f**k they're doing.Originally posted by DimPrawn View PostYes, if you want it to run slowly, and take 10x longer to develop, with built-in memory leaks, null pointer exceptions, out of memory errors and strange threading issues, use the "superior" unmanaged plain vanilla ANSI C++ and MFC option

Btw, run slowly? Where the hell do you get that from?

I'd be happy to assist as well - C#/.NET sounds like it might fit the bill in this case.

Shouldn't this be in the business section?
But as I'm on the bench and have done C++/MFC and only work on Windows. I'd be interested. yeah.

I need to get a bit of development done...
Folks, a question.
I need to get something developed. Now, eveh with my limited knowledge of these things, I can see that it wouldn't take long; having met NickFitz, I am confident he could do it in an afternoon.
It needs to run on Windows. Sadly - on one of those tablet things.
