Get them from your backups. You do have backups don't you?

Sadly the problem occurred when I was transferring them from my HDD to NAS. I had put some files on the NAS and then, as it was new, hadn't mastered the NAS propertly and ended up starting the config disk which caused the files i had already put on it to "disappear".

Open the recycle bin, right click on the file and click Restore.

Take it to the police, they're normally pretty good at recovering deleted porn^H^H^H^H pictures.

Hope you don't live where I do then - the rozzers round here tried to pass off a .rtf file as a gospel transcript of an MSN conversation between two people, despite the fact it was emailed by a third party. When asked if there was any possibility it could have been "edited" they were forced to admit defeat.

What is the easiest way to recover files erroneously deleted from the hard drive? They were pictures as well.....!!

Take it to the police, they're normally pretty good at recovering deleted porn^H^H^H^H pictures.

Bear this in mind though...

The most important thing is to prevent the erased file from being overwritten by another file. To do so, avoid any use of the disk where the file was erased, until after the erased file is recovered. Also, remember that Turbo File Uneraser should not be installed to this disk. Install it to a floppy disk if no other disk is available.
